Kiwi sport

L.I.was to learn how to play the Taniwha role.

This week for kiwi sport we had to do 3 challenges.The 1st challenge everyone had to throw the Ki at the tupu to get a score in one minute.Our score was 19.

 Our second challenge was to time to get the whole team hitting the tupu. If we hit the tupu we have to sit down in Te Ao.

Our 3rd challenge was to hit the tupu with the katiaki guarding the tupu our score was 2.

Then we played a game we had to save the wife The 10 tagers had to stay in Te rota and stay out of pawero.

Music









L.I.To learn the notes of songs and learn how to play the instrument.
On Wednesday we learnt new songs that we could play on instruments.
We played notes for Shotgun. The most common notes for songs was C,F,G and A.
We also played song like lazy,Shotgun and one call away.

Ki o rahi


LI - To learn the areas of the field in ki o rahi.
Today we played ki o rahi, we were told the legend before we started playing.The Frist layer is the world which is outside.Next the teeths or pow,next the water or moat which is awakari that is the red and green cones.Next is the island or moutere the people on the other team would have a ball and throw and try and hit the middle.That would make the people who are trying to run around it have to stop.They have a yellow ball.Later in the game there would be two people who are trying to make a team hit the middle.If you were a runner you had to touch the pow or teeth and when that was done go next to the water and ice bridge,arawhata place the ball there.That would mean that you won.And then at the last person in the line (the gold child) would bring everyone back to the line.If the golden child got in you lost.

Kiwi can

L.I. was positive communication.

Our Topic was Positive Relationships .
LS1 played a game called Remote Control.Mr Alapati told us how to play the game.If he said play we had to walk stop means freeze and pause is jump.

Then we talked about active listening.Active listening means when someone talking we are listening.

Our activity was Chop Suey Salute.We had to listen to the constructions there was lots of moves we could do

Graphs



LI: To display data on a graph.
This week for Maths we had to make a graph  digitally and by hand. On our graph we had to write about six different data platforms.

Each of us made one graph each.  For the graphs we had to write a statements about  the data we collected.For the graphs we had to write the labels and the title so people know what it is about. Some main things you need on a graph is amount of people that have you data, a vertical and horizontal label.

Kiwi Can

LI.was to have a Positive Relationship
This week LS1 was at Kiwi can.Our theme was Positive Relationship and our topic was Positive communication. LS1 had a new Kiwi can teacher his name was Mr Alapati. After we talked about what rules we have in class.

Energizer We done a Energizer called Moonlight Tunnels.We had to get in a group of 3 then we made a circle.We got one number when the number got called out we had to run around the circle and the other to team mates to make a Tunnel to get in the middle of the circle

Then we played eyes up eyes down.If Mr Alapati said eyes down then LS1 has to put there head down if he said eyes up we had to look at some and point our arms to the person who we were looking at.

After we played a game called jokey up. We got peared into 2 who ever was in the front had to run around the circle go back to there partners they had to jump on there partners or put there hands on there back.

Then we done a GKQ. 5 people around the circle had to stand if they knew the question they had to the buzzer intill one person wins.
  

Ki o Rahi

LI was to learn The basics of ki o Rahi

This week LS1 had Kiwi Sport. Our coach was called Shanice. LS1 watched a video of Ki o Rahi. Back in the days they made a game to stop arguments,violence and to create peace and harmony.

Then we played a game called Taniwha and Kiona it was like Rats and Rabbits. If Shanice said Taniwha has to run then Kiona has to try tag them.

After we played Taniwha and Kiona. We played 8 pass.The first one to pass the ball 8 times to there team mates with out dropping the ball wins.We had to spread out and share the ball. Koina  won.
