African Drums

LI: to learn African Drumming

Johnny from Rhythm Interactive taught us four rhythms on the djembe drum. Johnny taught us by singing and clapping the rhythms for us to copy. One of the call and return tunes was ''I like Chocolate Cake'' , ''so do I''  Johnny teaches a message to children that message was that together we can make a change.

Johnny's lesson was very interesting because I have learnt about this before and I also learnt some new things as well something new that I learnt were the new rhythms on the drums and I learnt four of them and I really enjoyed it because I was doing something that I have done before and I was doing it again it was very fun.

Hiwi The Kiwi fishing for the future

LI.To be responsible in the sea and when fishing.

What we learned

I learned that you should always take a fishing ruler to measure the fish to see if they are babies or not.If they are babies they have to be gently put back in the sea.If There mum's or dad's you can not take them home, because they have to have there babies.

If your on a boat, kayak or any other boat make sure you have a life jacket on or else you could inquire yourself or drawn.Life jackets help you float so you or anyone doesn't drawn.

On beaches roads and other places it's good to pick up pieces of plastic and other rubbish so it doesn't go into the ocean or other places where it can harm other people and animals.

When you are fishing its good to have a look around for sea birds.Sometimes they hurt there self by eating bait on the line or they don't see the fishing line and get tangled up. So it's good to have a water gun to scare them away.

Salt ice is good when you catch a salt water fish like snappers and other salt water fish. Salt ice makes the fish more fresher to eat when you take it home it also stops it from being yuckier.

Wet towels are good for fish so it stops the oil that comes off them it doesn't leave fingerprints on the fish.If some of the oil comes off they can get sick and pass away.
So it's good to use a wet towel so its stops all the oil from coming off.

What we did

We had to listen to the minstrel so he could tell us information about the fish and why there is a lot dying in the sea. After we sang songs that he wrote and did challenges. We also answered questions.

Explanation

Why were computers made?

This will tell you why computers were made.

Computers were made to find out information and other things also playing games, watching videos and many other sites and things. The computer was originally invented to do repetitive calculations quickly and accurately Considered the "father of the computer", he conceptualized and invented the first mechanical computer in the early 19th century.

Computers were around since 1833 and 1871.Back then computers didn’t look and had no mouse or keyboard it had a microphone a lot of wires.

So what happens when your computer runs out of memory (RAM)? When your computer runs out of memory your computer will start to use the hard drive space for Virtual Memory. The problem with this is that your hard drive read/write speeds are much slower than the RAM.

Computers work by the computer does its primary work in a part of the machine we cannot see, a control center that converts data input to information output.

The base of personal computers PC worldwide from 2013 to 2019. This statistic shows the base of personal computers worldwide from 2015 to 2019. In 2015, there were approximately 1.5 billion PCs in use worldwide.

A computer is a electronic device that you can use on the internet. You can find information, videos, games and many other things.

Kiwi Can

LI. To follow through with what we say....

Our topic for this week was responsibility.

Energizer: Count to 21

Activity: 3 Goals setting.

Three things we can strive to complete them by the end of the term.

  • My first goal was mowing my uncles lawns by knowing all of the controls that are on the lawn mower so I won't need help.
  • My second goal was getting to school on time by waking up getting dressed and catching the bus.
  • My third goal was finishing my must do's by Friday by concentrating.

To follow through with what we say is to actually do it.
We can show this by doing this at home anywhere else.
