We were given clues to help us match the names without using Maori dictonary. The guys names were in highlited in blue to help us match names.
Next I tried to translate a conversation in Maori to English. We were allowed to use the maori dictonary to help us translate the sentences.
For example:
Tēna koutou katoa Greeting to you all
Ko John taku ingoa My name is John
Nō Whangarei ahau Im from Whangarei
Te kau ma waru ōku tau I am 18 years oldI found this task hard becuse it was my first time doing translating converations from Maori to english.
