Money | Maths

NZ money works on a place value system. New Zealand's current money works on the 100's place value.

New Zealand money have 5 different coins and 5 different notes. There are 10c, 20c, 50c, $1, and $2 coins. There are $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 dollar notes.

Here is a example on how the system works. If you had $10 and spent 3.20 the change you would get back is 6. 80 becuase 10 stubtracted by 3.20 = 6.80.

Money can be shown in many different ways. It's importaint to know to use money because it helps people understand the value of money.
