Adverbs

Adverbs are used to describe verbs, adjectives and other adverbs. Most adverbs end ly, e.g. quickly, sadly, happily and many more. Adverbs often help answer the questions when, where and how and to what extent.

Adverbs that often tell how an action happens are, e.g. The girl was quickly running.

Adverbs that often tell when something happens are, Tommorow or now.
For example: Tommorow Jake will be snekaing out of the house to go to a concert.

Some adverbs that tell where something happened are outside or inside.
For example: The kids were playing inside.

The words barely, almost, very and extremely can describe verbs like almost finished and can modify adjectives like extremely angry, e.g. Leon was almost finished his koru art.

Adverbs help make a more detailed sentence or question.
